AUDITIONS OPEN
Young Sounds youth music program of Arizona is a Jazz Education organization for students from the ages of 13 to 19 and is sponsored by Professional Musicians of Arizona, Local 586, American Federation of Musicians (AFM).
Young Sounds youth music program participation is
earned through an audition process. Auditions are held annually during the summer. Open to all jazz instruments, all levels.

At Young Sounds of Arizona, we firmly believe that proper training can further develop a child’s musical talent. Speaking from our experience in running group programs, we know that experts’ and performers’ guidance can definitely help young learners. It can help them to build confidence, skills and their capacity for concentration can improve.
Moreover, we’re also advocates of making music classes and concerts highly available for free to everyone who is passionate about Jazz. These things all made us into the company that many young people and parents rely on and trust today. We promise to never stop doing our work so more children can realize their true potential.
Attending a music class is a great experience for children and performing live to a crowd is even better. However, today, tuition for such group lessons is still quite expensive, and it’s not that easy for a child to secure a spot in a concert. Here at Young Sounds of Arizona, we think the opportunity to learn music and also to perform it should be available to even those who are not wealthy, so we will continue to offer our services to local families and organize shows.
